Tropical Reef

Tropical Reef - two strand necklace:

Short strand - carved carnelian fish pendant strung with four different types of freshwater pearls (yes some are dyed); approx 23.5” L.

Long strand - enameled fish and carved jasper shell strung with vintage coral, and a variety of freshwater pearls; approx 28” L.

I’ve always been fascinated by images of coral reefs and I think this statement piece captured that feeling. I love the earth tones juxtaposed to the cool blues.

And if you were concerned, all the coral used is from vintage pieces I find, I never use “new” coral in my work.
