Vintage silver (sterling?) and turquoise ankh strung with faceted carnelian rounds, Afghan lapis, and Egyptian turquoise; sterling findings.

Where do I even start? Let’s start with the vintage ankh - I found it at a fabulous antique mall from a favorite dealer...it is silver (not sure of the content, it was sold as sterling, and there is an illegible stamp...) filigree and turquoise...absolutely stunning.

When I was in Albuquerque, and went to one of the largest native jewelry, silver, and turquoise dealers in the US, I picked up two strands of Egyptian turquoise. It has red matrix instead of the black or pyrite you see in turquoise from the US. Add Afghan lapis and traditional carnelian, it becomes a statement piece! Simple, traditional (with my touch), and stunning.
