Kore on the Verge

Kore on the Verge - two strand necklace:

Long strand - carved jade leaf strung with six stamped HTS* charms, jade, sterling beads, and HTS beads. Approx 22” L.

Short strand - garnet briolette, flanked by tiny HTS beads, strung with jade and tiny garnet rounds. Approx 20.25” L.

Sterling findings

This piece is my homage to Spring. The name refers to the moments before Kore was taken to the Underworld...before she has her own identity other than Maiden or Daughter...beautiful and full of Springtime. But, the garnet hints at things to come...eating of the pomegranate seeds.
