The influence for this piece was from a blog post I read by author Jason Mankey. He was sharing about his travels through the temple ruins of Greece and he felt the God/desses were no longer present there. It really hit me harder than I expected...the Gods had abandoned their temples when we abandoned Them....so this piece is to honor the “Old Gods” so They know They are not forgotten.
