El Santo

El Santo - carved wood “jaguar” pendant strung with pale carnelian, dalmatian jasper, African copper beads, and African amber*; copper findings.

I recently went to a local wild animal park called Animal Ark and was really inspired by many of their residents. One of which is a jaguar named El Santo. Many of the residents there have heart breaking/warming stories as to why they can’t be in the wild, and they also have big personalities....this guy is a character, and one of my favorites.

*the amber is from Africa, it is melted down and reformed into beads.
