Sterling eye charm with a ruby bead and sterling caps from Bali pendant strung with semi precious stones (I used to get these gorgeous strands of beads with garnets and tourmalines and labradorite and amethyst etc) two sterling Hamsa charms, six Evil Eye beads from Istanbul, and sterling beads; sterling rings and “S” hook.

When I got that sterling order a few weeks back I had different plans for the sterling charms in this piece, earrings for the Hamsas, not sure what for the eye...then the design started to come forward with adding Evil Eye beads, then the multi stone strand, then the pendant came together...but the ruby was the Pièce de résistance.

I have always been fascinated with eyes, and I love to work with Evil Eye beads (mine come from Turkey). They are to draw good luck to you, and repel bad wishes...the ultimate in “good luck charm”.

Hamsas are also used in many cultures, by many names, but generally speaking they are another protection symbol. I love to put them with Evil Eyes.
